About the role:
Generate new business opportunities across the UK.
Identify and engage organisations with complex software, cloud and digital transformation requirements.
Build a healthy pipeline through a combination of targeted outbound activity, networking, referrals and account research.
Develop relationships with technical and business stakeholders, including engineering leaders, technology directors, CIOs and CTOs.
Research target accounts and identify relevant business, software and technology challenges.
Own opportunities from initial engagement through discovery, qualification, proposal and close.
Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customer priorities, challenges and desired outcomes.
Work closely with senior technical specialists throughout solution design and complex pre-sales discussions.
Coordinate internal resources to create credible, value-led proposals and customer presentations.
Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across each prospective customer.
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and opportunity progression.
Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
Contribute ideas to improve outbound messaging, sales processes and the wider go-to-market approach.
Work remotely across the UK, with regular travel to customer sites and occasional travel to a regional office.
Your previous experience:
A proven track record of winning new customers within a B2B technology environment.
Experience selling complex software, technology solutions or professional services.
A background in enterprise SaaS, software engineering services, systems integration, cloud, DevOps, developer tools or technical consulting would be particularly relevant.
Experience generating a meaningful proportion of your own pipeline through outbound activity and targeted account development.
Confidence engaging technical and commercial decision-makers.
Experience managing consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through to close.
The ability to understand complex customer challenges and position outcome-focused solutions.
Strong discovery, qualification, presentation and negotiation skills.
Commercial awareness and the ability to build compelling business cases.
Experience collaborating with technical consultants, engineers, solution specialists or delivery teams.
Strong account planning, stakeholder mapping and relationship-building capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach to new business development.
Comfortable working autonomously while remaining highly collaborative with colleagues and senior leadership.

Package:
£80,000–£110,000 base salary DOE + Double OTE
UK remote working.
Regular travel to customer sites across the UK.
